MEGADETH's DAVID ELLEFSON To Appear At BASS PLAYER LIVE!

On behalf of Hartke systems, MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson will appear at SIR Studios in Hollywood, California for the second day of Bass Player LIVE! on October 24. Ellefson will showcase Hartke's LH1000 bass amplifier and HyDrive 810 cabinet with an hour-long clinic beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Clinic Room 1. From 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., Ellefson will be available for additional gear demos and autographs at the Hartke booth.

Bass Player LIVE! is back to bring players, manufacturers, and artists together in an intimate environment for hands-on access to the latest instruments, equipment and instruction on playing technique and application. Special guest appearances and performances will include Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, THE ROLLING STONES' Darryl Jones, ALICE IN CHAINS anchor Mike Inez, jazz visionary Matt Garrison, fretless phenom Steve Bailey, wonder-from-down-under Tal Wilkenfeld, gospel great Andrew Gouche, Michael Jackson's former bassist Alex Al, Beyonce Knowles' bassist Divinity Roxx and many more.

This exciting two-day event consists of inspiring clinics, workshops and live demos for players of all levels, coupled with manufacturer exhibits to showcase current basses and equipment to the bass community at large. All musicians are welcome. The exclusive concert at Key Club on Saturday, October 23 will include a Lifetime Achievement Award presentation to funk legend Bootsy Collins and fusion giant Alphonso Johnson, who will both perform; plus an all-star jam to conclude the evening.
